Terms & Conditions

Transferring your place

We’ll happily transfer your place to a lucky colleague or friend if you need to. Please let us know as soon as possible and ideally no later than 27 February 2015 – email [email protected].

If for any reason you can’t attend at all, you’ll need to let us know no later than 20 February 2015. Refunds will not be made after this date.

Photos and footage

We photograph and film all of our events and by registering you give us permission to use any images or footage taken of you on the day. We also reserve the right to reproduce quotes and feedback which will be fully credited.

The King’s Centre is fully accessible to wheelchair users. If you have any requirements you think we should be aware of, please let us know at the point of registering so that we can ensure we meet your needs and have someone on hand to assist you if required.

From time to time a speaker may drop out of our conference programme as we’ve advertised it and we reserve the right to substitute them for another equally awesome individual. We know you won’t be disappointed!

We take your privacy very seriously and will not sell or share your personal information with sponsors or third parties. Sponsors may request to gather your details on the day of the conference but your permission will be sought and the information gathered from you directly.

Code of conduct

jQuery UK is a friendly environment where everyone should feel welcome, safe and comfortable to share ideas and engage in open discussion. Please be respectful towards other delegates, speakers, organisers and staff. If you feel uncomfortable with the behaviour of someone at the conference, please let someone in a staff t-shirt know. We will take your concerns seriously. We have lovely delegates and have never had to do so, but we do reserve the right to politely ask people to leave if they act against the spirit of this code.

Many thanks to our wonderful sponsors. For information on sponsoring jQuery UK please contact Ruth.
