jQuery 2012

jQuery UK 2012 was the first European jQuery conference and an inspiring day of talks from the pioneers of the world’s favourite JavaScript framework, and wider industry experts. The 320 available tickets sold out in just three weeks!

We were delighted that it proved to be a huge hit with overwhelmingly positive feedback from delegates and speakers alike. “I can safely say it was a massive success,” said 2012 speaker Christian Heilmann from Mozilla. “The success of a conference very much depends on the passion of the organisers and the group behind this one has passion to spare.”

After such a great response, we started planning for the following year’s conference right away – with ambitions to make it even bigger and better…

Last year we doubled the conference size and kept the winning formula of amazing speakers and seriously good content and added exciting extras like a Rising Stars speaker track and our now famous jBeery festival as part of the after party.

For jQuery UK 2014, as well as an amazing speaker line-up, we had some awesome treats and surprises in store for our attendees. Have a look at our programme of carefully curated hands-on workshops and our free fringe events.

To get a feel of what it’s like at jQuery UK, check out the speaker videos from last year, and some of our attendee feedback below.

We produce these events with you in mind, so feel free to drop us a line any time if you have feedback, suggestions or questions. We’d love to hear from you!

Back from @jquk, brilliant speakers again this year. Great job - when can I book a ticket for next year? #jquk

@Katie_Nelson, 2013 delegate

Every single talk left my brain firing on all cylinders and making plans for change. Change in the way I approach projects, change in the way I think about code and change in the way I intend to grow as a developer.

Shaun Dunne, UBelly

I enjoyed the hell out of it and I would say the content this year was even better than the last (which I didn't think would have been possible).
